    GSM SMSC

4N TeleSoft's Short Message Service Centre, (SMSC), is a well proven store-and-forward platform that receives, processes, stores, and sends all Short Messages (SMS) within a mobile network and supports interconnectivity to other fixed/wireless networks.

The provision of Short Message Service makes use of a Short Message Service Centre (SMSC), which serves as an interworking and relaying function of the message transfer between the SMEs. The SMSC is a database that checks, accepts, buffers, processes and distributes all Short Messages in a mobile network. The SMSC has provision for both i.e. to forward the messages without storing in a database (instantaneous delivery) and/or with storing the messages and then forwarding (store and forward service) depending on various parameters. It automatically appends the MSISDN of the sender to the short message text to enable the recipient to identify the sender. This enables the recipient to reply back.

  Missed Calls Alert

The mobile subscribers of a wireless operator miss their calls when they are out of coverage area, phone is switched off, or when they are busy on another call. This reduces the call completion rate and hence, is a source of revenue loss for the operator. Missed Call Alerts service is a solution for notifying mobile users about their missed calls, and subsequently informing the availability of the subscriber to the caller, thereby encouraging them to make return calls as per their choice.

    Vertual Calling Card

Virtual Calling Card Service allows customers who buy calling card to print out their calling card they purchased from the web site. Virtual calling card provides information of calling card including PIN code, toll free number, and type of calling card like the real calling card. By printing Virtual Calling card, users don't have to write down information of the calling card.

Virtual Calling Card works exactly like traditional pre-paid calling cards. Instead of buying a physical card, users add funds to their online virtual cards account. When they use up the limit and it will show on a website. So when you ring India using your calling cards the amount will be deducted from you online. This method is fast, cheap and effective.

    Preferred Roamer

If the subscriber is traveling to an area where the home network operator has a group company providing services or has a preferred operator arrangement, the potential for both parties to earn roaming revenues from this subscriber is high. However, the Out Roamers usually logs onto various other competing networks. This translates into huge loss of revenues to the home network. Preferred roamer enables the carriers to have control over the roaming subscribers. It provides control to the home network operator to ensure that the roaming subscribers log onto preferred networks only. Home network can provide complete control on Out Roamers and thus, ensure higher revenues. The operator can have roaming tie-ups with partners of choice and can ensure that their subscribers log onto the required network only. A group of networks can enhance revenues and can control the quality of facilities being provided to their subscribers.

    Camel Gateway

Camel Gateway enables the network to have CAMEL services and CAMEL roaming without having the need to upgrade to full fledged CAMEL infrastructure (which is highly expensive and time consuming). The service providers complete CAMEL functionality for non-CAMEL networks and networks with previous versions. This external standalone platform integrates to the operator's network and implements all CAMEL functional components. Non-CAMEL networks are now able to realize the potential of CAMEL based services at lower costs without lengthy upgrades of network elements or modifications to service platforms.

    USSD Center

USSD is a GSM service that allows high speed interactive communication between the subscribers and applications across a GSM network. Unlike SMS, USSD is a session-oriented service. Service offers minimal delay between sending the query and receiving the response.

4N TeleSoft's USSD Center is a platform that enables Operators to introduce messaging services with USSD as the bearer, providing faster response times. The platform is complementary to existing SMS services, bringing faster interactive messaging to users. It acts as a gateway between applications and the GSM network and lets you deliver USSD messages of up to 182 characters on a network between mobile stations and applications.

    USSD Call Back Server

USSD Callback Server facilitates seamless roaming across non-CAMEL 2 compliant networks and enables pre-paid users to make calls whilst abroad. With this solution the home network has full control over the call and can perform all the pre-call checks and also rate the call in real time for prepaid subscribers.

    Single IMSI Multiple MSISDN

Multiple MSISDN roaming enables operators to offer local numbers to roamers who frequently roam between two or more regions/countries, leading to optimized roaming call costs for roamers and sustainable recurring revenue streams for the operators. Operators can benefit by catering to the specific needs of the frequent regional roamer segment via increased loyalty, while retaining the roamers to their networks while roaming. Roamers can easily avail local numbers without changing handsets, have local users reach them via a local call and can essentially portray a multinational presence.

  Welcome Outbound SMS

Welcome Outbound SMS is a combined monitoring and SMS delivery application. Solutions empowers mobile operators with a reliable and manageable platform, enabling mobile operators to send a range of targeted and personalized SMS messages to inbound and outbound roaming subscribers. Messages can be personalized based on a broad range of criterion including the foreign network, the customer's native language, time of last message sent, usage on network, next network latched onto, and others.

    Optimal Routing

Optimal Routing allows a call to be routed directly from the Originating Switch to the MSC currently serving a mobile, which replaces both the leg from the Originating Switch to the home MSC and the leg from the home MSC to the Serving MSC. It is most useful when the roaming mobile being called is within the local calling area of the calling mobile. Currently, such a situation may require two long distance calls even if the two parties are within spitting distance. Optimal Routing can reduce this to a single local call and thus save valuable resources for the operator. This saving may be extended to the subscriber.

    Roaming Call Assitant

Travelers calling from mobile phones tend to make common dialing errors when placing international calls due to unfamiliar dialing conventions and language barriers. The result is lost operator revenue and fewer completed calls. This product provides a flexible, multi modal user interface to analyze, correct and complete misdialed calls. By completing more calls and improving the use of network resources, operators generate additional revenues and visitor traffic while addressing roamer's basic needs.

    Phone Book Backup

Mobile Directory Back-up enables service providers to offer mobile end users the opportunity to set up and maintain their mobile directory remotely using a web-based portal.

Mobile Directory Back-up allows users to set up and maintain a permanent private mobile phonebook securely with the telecom operator. The mobile synchronizes the contents of the standard phonebook with a web-based phonebook; the content can also be accessed via the internet anywhere in the world.

    Roaming Broaker

Roaming broaker enables a mobile operator to leverage its existing roaming relationships to extend full-fledged roaming services to its newer regional networks, without having to go through an extensive roaming relationship setup process.

    Online Charging and Reconciliation

Online Charging and Re-conciliation (OCR) is a system that will provide facilities to integrate VAS services seamlessly with the existing prepaid system thereby achieving online charging for the VAS service offered and reconcile the same with the third party VAS providers.
